When quickly creating a bot channels registration in Azure (I usually do this for testing something) You can select to create your own Microsoft App ID and Secret. If you do this then you can copy/paste them because you need them later on. But when you select “Auto create App ID and Secret” they don’t show you the secret in your bot settings.

When testing out Microsoft Teams and reading up on the documentation I noticed that the webhooks that work in Teams are the same as in an Office 365 group. This is great news because we already know how to connect to a Office 365 group using a webhook and it’s already documented by Microsoft and many others. So lets get started on getting our alerts into our team.

Azure Container Service
When researching my session on the Azure Container Service I noticed that to get to the DCOS and marathon UI is quite a hassle. You must connect to your ACS thru an SSH tunnel. This means that when doing this, your localhost url is now connected to the Azure Container Service. This is not easy if you want to use it on your local machine for lets say development or just to run containers on you dev box. If you want to know more about the Azure Container Service, how to set it up or how to play with it just follow this link to the overview. Or simple take a free trail in Azure and start playing with it.
Read Make DCOS and Marathon …This year I will join other internationally renowned speakers to present at DEVIntersections Europe. I will present 3 sessions there: - Extend Office Add-ins with the Azure Container Service - Speed up your Office 365 Intranet to Mach 1 - The graph is the glue that keeps it together All these sessions will be dev-oriented and I hope they will inspire people to work more with the Office graph, Office 365, docker or Azure. If you still haven’t bought a ticket, there are still some places left I think. You can you my personal discount code so you don’t have to pay the full amount. (which is even beter 😀 )
